Course Description
The MSc Psychology (Top-Up) is a fast, research-intensive route to a full master’s degree for applicants who already hold an approved Level 7 qualification in psychology. You will complete an independent research project that integrates theory with empirical work and culminates in a master’s dissertation, developing advanced analytical, methodological and reporting skills that transfer directly into professional and academic settings. You’ll receive structured guidance at each stage—topic selection, literature review, methodological design, data analysis and presentation—so you can produce a rigorous, practice-relevant thesis.
ULaw combines specialist teaching with strong online delivery and learner support. In the UK’s national Teaching Excellence Framework (2023), ULaw’s overall provider rating is Silver, with Student Experience Gold—indicating typically outstanding academic experience—while QS awards ULaw an overall Five-Star rating.
- Professionals who have completed a recognised Level 7 psychology diploma and want to convert it into a full MSc.
- Graduates aiming to evidence independent research competence for roles requiring research literacy (e.g., insights, education, health and social care contexts) or to prepare for further study.
