Supporting Young Futures in Ranajayapura Ranaviru Village
At Chestnut Foundation, we believe that access to education is one of the most powerful ways to create lasting change. Even the simplest resources can make a meaningful difference in a child’s learning journey and confidence.
On 6 November 2025, the Chestnut Foundation proudly sponsored a school supplies distribution programme for 30 children from Ranajayapura Ranaviru Village in Anuradhapura. This initiative was aimed at supporting children from underprivileged backgrounds by ensuring they have essential learning materials to continue their education with confidence and enthusiasm.
The programme was fully funded by Chestnut Foundation, reflecting our continued commitment to supporting rural communities across Sri Lanka. Over the years, the Foundation has remained dedicated to uplifting children in underserved villages by addressing practical needs that directly impact their ability to learn and thrive.
For the children of Ranajayapura Ranaviru Village, these school supplies represent more than stationery – they symbolise encouragement, opportunity, and the belief that their education matters.
